Portable Links
Portable microwave link systems are used to transmit video and audio between, for example, a production area on the 30th floor of a city skyscraper and an uplink truck or a downlink dish and a venue. When conventional cables or fiber can't make the length, Metrovision's portable link systems are often a great option.
Frequency Coordination
Staffing and frequency coordination are the keys to making successful links in an RF heavy environment. Our microwave engineers routinely navigate some of the most challenging RF situations - from premiere sporting events like the Super Bowl to the "Canyon of Heroes" in Lower Manhattan. Metrovision's full time frequency coordinator ensures compliance within our allocated frequency band for news, sports or entertainment productions, when several links may be in use.

Wireless Camera Links
Wireless Camera link: A clip-on microwave transmitter that mounts between the camera back and battery. It uses reliable COFDM digital encoding to transmit broadcast-quality HD, SD/SDI or video, with up to eight channels of embedded digital audio and two channels of analog audio.
